Let me tell you a little about Dræ.ming [$ Ⓞ $].

Dream sequences can often appear from the littlest memories or our deepest subconscious space. They flicker in and out, like a television screen in the late afternoon, often ignored even by some who sit directly in front of it. It all comes back, though, one way or another.

When I first listened to 회사AUTO's music, and still at this point unsure which genre it could be best described as people you meet ('vaporwave' has been often attached to it, something that I believe is appropriate), I found myself completely excited and surprised at a sound so new that somehow felt built on nostalgia. It's "The Art of Noise" for the new DJs.

After hearing "Dræ.ming [$ Ⓞ $]" for the first time, I knew I had to create something for it. I sent a message to 회사AUTO after seeing his new album drop, Introducing The Hardline EP [[According To Jonnny Lavendær]], and asked him directly about producing a video for dreaming. One thing led to another, and after close to 60 hours of actual edit time, everything was good to go.

Let me know what you think.

More databending experiments.

Got some new audio VSTs for editing, and I'm currently experimenting with Photoshop layer databending, which is proving to be more difficult than normal. Here's some of the latest images.

Business cards.

Finally got these designed and printed. Links to my website and blog are included, as well as a QR code that goes directly to my site. Now to make a decent mobile site...

How shiny.

Art inside art: Photography from "Pikmin 3"

Been busy lately. Busy means stress; stress means I need to relax. I've been doing so lately with Pikmin 3, a really unique and serene game from Nintendo. The game follows multiple young astronauts who land on a strange planet in search of food for their dying world, and end up finding small, helpful, alien/ant-like creatures called Pikmin. During the exploration, your characters have small cameras on them for observing the environment - and I've been finding myself doing the same.
I love the atmosphere way too much. The ambient music playing while taking these photos is just excellent. Overall, a fun little stress-reliever.

Wild Letterforms Appeared!

Except it's more like Pokemon Snap, I suppose. Either way, check 'em out. Most came from downtown Pensacola.
